Wedding Date is
June 12, 2010
After intense deliberation, a few heart palpitations, a missing cell phone, and my mother’s education to new technology (the GPS,) we have picked a ceremony and reception site.
Ceremony Site: McDonogh Target Memorial Chapel

**This site was picked because it is so beautiful and happens to be the Chapel where Mike went to high school. Everyone keep your fingers crossed the Catholic Church will approve!!

Finding a wedding reception site large enough for up to 300 guests, but reasonably priced, was a bit stressful for this Bride-To-Be. God bless the large family! Thanks to my mother for being the back bone of the operation. She had every site in the Baltimore Area scoped out from the halls, farms, military bases, business hotels, to the pricey hotels on the water in the Baltimore. Everything location ranging from $10,000 - $56,000+. (That last price did not include a sit down dinner either. CRAZY!!)
We had some fun times especially at the Ft. Meade Club. We went there particularly every weekend just for the free prizes. We won everything from hats, watches, Budweiser bottles to ladies night free scarves and purses. One week, my dad opted to join the family affair. (Perhaps my dad was exerting his masculinity, since my mother was hit on the week before. Yes, ladies she still has what it takes to turn on the bar groupies.) My dad had my friend April saying "Forget the gym, all your dad needs is a scarf and a dance floor."

Yeah, bring your swim trunks for the pool!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, but is it big enough for the Walenga Army???
